An Income Tax Workshop for Family Caregivers

Medical Expenses and Attendant Care Tax Credits – Lucrative and Misunderstood.

Perhaps the best known – and least understood – claim you can make on your income taxes is Medical Expenses and the various related tax credits that surround medical issues. But every year, thousands of Canadian Taxpayers lose out simply because legitimate claims are not made.

To address this confusion, this presentation will cover all medically-related tax credits, focusing on the Disability Tax Credit, Attendant and Caregiver Claims, as well as the Healthy Homes Tax Credit.

Please join us on February 24, 2016 as Alan Rowell, MFA, DFA-Tax Services Specialist from The Accounting Place, breaks down this confusing and misunderstood section of the Income Tax Act, to help ensure that caregivers, seniors and all taxpayers are claiming all the credits they are entitled to.
